Paying the Bills...

Obviously, we will need to develop  a mechanism for paying the bills. I have no way of knowing just how this will shake out. It is my intent to sell the software to someone that can give it greater support than I. If successful, I would hope to disperse the proceeds, after taxes, agents, lawyers and accountants, as follows. A portion to you the registered members of the National Computer Association, a portion to the bank account of the Association and a portion to my private bank account.

In the meantime, I would appreciate any donations you could make to reduce the load on my credit cards.

Of course, this forum is open for discussion about your thoughts on the subject. I am proposing that we start off using a credit system as follows:

PDMSB registration                  100 credits

Donation                                1 credit per Dollar

Write paper for discussion        Negotiable

Example: For every million bucks distributed to registered members:

1,000 members * 100 credits = 100,000 credits

200 donations * $15 = 3,000 credits

4 papers * 250 credits = 1,000 credits

Total credits = 104,000

$1,000,000 / 104,000 = $9.62 per credit (that's $962 for each and every registration)

Now that is a pretty good return for a little effort on your part -- and I believe those numbers to be very conservative.

Obviously, I can't make any guarantees -- mainly because the success is more dependent upon you than it is on me.

Remember, the more you participate, the more you encourage your friends to participate, the more likelihood of finding a satisfactory deal.

Let me also remind you that if you have doubts about the possibilities I've described, you are harboring doubts about yourself as well as your friends and fellow participants. This is the US of A, and we can do anything we set our mind to.

Good Luck to all of us
